Delete your account
How to permanently delete your Gymbers account from the app or the website, and what to do first.
Updated
Deleting your account is permanent. There's no grace period and no way to undo it, so do the two things below first.
Before you delete
Cancel your subscription
Deleting your account doesn't cancel an Apple or Google subscription — they bill separately and will keep charging. See Manage or cancel your subscription.
Export anything you want to keep
Settings → Export My Data saves your workout history and body measurements as a file.
Delete from the app
Open Settings
It's the gear at the top of your profile.
Tap Delete Account
It's at the bottom of the list, under Sign Out.
Type DELETE and confirm
Type
DELETEin the box, then tap Delete My Account. There's no second confirmation after this.
Your phone needs a connection — the app can't delete your account offline. Once it's done, you're signed out and the data on that phone is cleared too.
Delete from the website
No phone to hand, or the app already removed? Go to
gymbers.com/delete-account, enter your account email, and
we'll send you a verification code. Enter it, type DELETE, and confirm.
What's deleted
The app lists it on the confirmation screen: your workout history, your programs and templates, your body measurements, and your profile and account. Signing in again with the same email starts a new, empty account.
If it won't let you
If you've published programs for other members, the app won't delete the account while any of them are still listed. Unpublish them first, then try again.
Anything else that stops it — an error message, or a delete that seems to do nothing — get in touch from your account email and we'll delete it for you.
