I'm subscribed but don't have Premium
Premium is missing on a new phone or after reinstalling. How to restore it, and what to check when restoring finds nothing.
Updated
Premium belongs to your Gymbers account, so signing in to the same account on a new phone usually brings it with you. When it doesn't, restore it.
Restore from the app
Open the Premium screen
Open Settings (the gear at the top of your profile) and tap Get Premium at the top.
Tap Restore Purchases
It's the small link under Continue, at the bottom of the screen. Continue is for subscribing, not restoring.
If the restore finds your subscription, the Premium screen closes and Premium is back. There's no separate success message.
"No Purchases Found"
The store couldn't find an active subscription on that Apple ID or Google account. Check these in order:
- The store account. On iPhone, open the Settings app and tap your name to see which Apple ID you're using. On Android, check the account in the Play Store.
- The subscription is still active. If it lapsed or you cancelled it and the paid period ended, there's nothing to restore.
- You subscribed on gymbers.com. Restoring only checks Apple and Google, so it won't find a web subscription. You don't need it to: sign in to the Gymbers app with the email you subscribed with and Premium is already there.
"Restore Failed"
Something went wrong while talking to the store — most often the connection. Check it and try again.
Still no Premium
Make sure you're signed in to the Gymbers account you expect — open Settings, tap Profile, and the email is under your name. If you signed in a different way on this phone, such as with Apple instead of your email address, you may be in a second account.
If everything matches and Premium still isn't there, get in touch with the email on your Gymbers account and, if you have it, your Apple or Google receipt.
